Founding President of Youth Voice Mass Movement and the Young People’s Program Zimbabwe Youth Association, Tinashe Nyagunzu has said youths remain unperturbed in their efforts to be engaged in the governance of affairs and fight against anything that is hindering the country’s progress.
Addressing a press briefing, Nyagunzu lamented the lack of peace of mind the youth are suffering from due to the economic hardships, corruption, poverty and political tension which he said is plunging the nation in mayhem and poverty.
“Corruption and injustice within the bone of the system has made the nation deteriorate beyond imagination. Political tension is further excluding the youths participation whilst business has become very difficult to operate,” he said.
He went on to say that the youths will continue to stand up for their voice to be heard and to voice their opinions on the decisions passed by Government. He said that they will continue do so via E-march, the social media movement they launched to gain the government’s attention towards their cause.
Nyagunzu said his program is challenging the government to create jobs, fight corruption, political tension and injustice effectively and pay attention to the youths concerns by involving them in national programs in their numbers saying they are the leaders of tomorrow.
He however applauded His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa for his commitment and undaunted efforts towards regime change in Zimbabwe.
