AFRO-FUSION musician Lovemore Nerudzo has expressed delight with the response which his latest musical project, Giant Wanyanya received, despite the stringent Covid-19 lockdown measures which had crippled the showbiz industry.

Giant Wanyanya – a 10-track offering – comprises the hit songs I Want To Marry You and Vandinotemba Naye which are currently receiving favourable airplay on local radio stations Radio Zimbabwe and National FM.

Other tracks on the album include Ndiphembeleleni, Vanodanana, Mkoma Gidza, Simba Mukaka featuring Mark Ngwazi, Kusaziva Kufa, Usatsamwe and Giant Wanyanya (title track).

“I am humbled by the incredible support my latest album Giant Wanyanya is receiving. It shows that the project is making an impact on the market. It is all because of our loyal fans who request the music for it to be played on the radio.

“Now that the coronavirus lockdown restrictions have been relaxed and shows are now resuming, I am optimistic that we will be interacting with our fans countrywide, bringing them to live music wherever they are,” said the Vandinotemba Naye singer.

The Brave Stars frontman, who also recently released a video for the song Elengina, added that he is already working on a new video for the hit I Want To Marry You which is expected to hit the market next month, just in time for the festive season.

“I’m in the recording studio polishing up a new video for the song I Want To Marry You so that we give our fans something to dance to during the Christmas and New Year holidays. I also encourage my supporters to follow our social media pages including Facebook and Twitter to interact and enjoy our good music,” the Elengina hitmaker added.

His music catalogue includes Farai Nesu (2017), Chikuru Kufema (2018), Wenyama Ngaafare (2019), Mwari Mupenyu (2019) and Giant Wanyanya (2020).
